Admission requirements
The admission requirements for the Springboard to a DCS/DEC pathway are the same as those for admission to a program of study leading to a DCS/DEC.
Educational intentions of the courses
If you would like to receive a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS/DEC), you will need to successfully comlplete the 12 courses from the General Education component and two complementary courses, regardless of which DCS/DEC you choose.
Objectives
The pathway Springboard to a DCS/DEC combines General Education courses (French, English, Humanities and Physical Education) with complementary courses that are required to integrate into a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS/DEC) program or to finish a program.
Particularities
Students may be enrolled in the Springboard to a DCS/DEC pathway for a maximum of three consecutive Fall or Winter semesters.
To earn a DCS/DEC, you need to successfully complete:
- All of the General Education component courses (12 courses, 22.66 credits).
- Two complementary courses from the General Education component (4 credits. You cannot choose two courses from the same ensemble.
- All of the program-specific courses from your program of study.
