Description

This course focuses on the use of photography and photographic techniques as tools for artistic expression. You will explore the different techniques and methods necessary to create photographic artwork, and study the work of known photographers to learn how they use the different elements of the medium to create pictures that are true works of art.

Particularities and material requirements

Computer requirements: A digital camera with a minimum of 3 megapixels and manual override controls. SLR cameras include these features. They can be recognized by the presence of a shooting mode selection dial on the top of the camera, which is labeled S, T or Tv (for shutter priority) and A or Av (for aperture priority). Smartphones offering these manual features for shutter speed and aperture are also accepted.
