Online francization service

The Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) offers future immigrants and newcomers intermediate and advanced online French courses (FEL). Cégep à distance is very proud to have offered tutoring services for these courses ever since they were launched in 2008. The courses and the partnership between MIFI and Cégep à distance have won several awards over the years.

CONTENT OF THE ONLINE FRENCH COURSE

The content of this French-as-a-second-language course, which is offered entirely online, fosters the socioeconomic integration of immigrants by drawing on themes related to daily life (housing, employment, education, etc.).

COURSE OPTIONS

Course with tutoring: You attend virtual classes taught by a tutor. This resource person supports and guides you as you learn French, answers your questions and corrects your assignments.

Self-taught course: You do the online activities independently. You do not take part in virtual classes, but your knowledge is systematically evaluated at certain points in the course. This option is offered only for intermediate courses and specialized modules (Administration, Law and Business; Engineering and Political Science; Health and Nursing Care; Tourism and Trade).
